Course Description

This course helps learners develop clear, confident, and natural English pronunciation. Students will study the sounds of English through phonemic symbols, learn how words connect in real speech, and practise rhythm, stress, and intonation to sound more fluent and expressive.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to understand and reproduce English speech patterns closer to native-level clarity while keeping their own accent natural and intelligible.

Course Goals

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Recognize and use English phonemic symbols accurately.

• Produce English vowel and consonant sounds clearly.

• Understand and apply word stress, sentence stress, and rhythm.

• Identify and use connected speech features (linking, assimilation, elision).

• Control intonation to express meaning, emotion, and attitude.

• Shadow and imitate native speakers to improve fluency and confidence.

Course Description

This course trains you to think with clarity, logic, and creativity. You will learn how to evaluate information objectively, question assumptions, identify biases, and use structured reasoning to make better decisions. Through real-world scenarios, case studies, and teamwork challenges, you will practise transforming critical thinking into practical problem solving.
